(May 30, 2026) Ocean Safety officials posted WARNING signs “near Lifeguard Tower 1G at Magic Island after reports of two aggressive sharks, each estimated at approximately 8 feet in length, were observed near the Ala Moana Bowls surf lineup.”

(4.15.26) — was a difficult month without AC in the cardio room, but maintenance fixed the issue. Working well this morning. Thank you!

DB News began as Discovery Bay News, but management demanded we remove the name or they would sue. We're dedicated to helping others, not create conflict. We're in discussion with mananagement.

As of April 11, 2026, DB News will be also be known as Da Bruddahs News. We'll still provide useful local information to interested residents and visitors in the Discovery Bay Center area 'ohana. Mahalo for following our work.

HECO Rates Increasing
